Beware of the bugs (roaches)...and the Towing!!!

I have been a resident at Winexburg for two years. I will give my opinion of the good AND the bad. Ready...
Good- The maintenance workers are very nice. The office staff is okay, except for the British lady with an indifferent attitude. Oh yeah, don't expect the rude young female with spiked hair at the front desk to greet you, much less ask if she can help you with something. Hopefully she's fired before you come out to visit. She is of no help and does not know what customer service is all about.
Bad- There are ROACHES. I didn't start seeing them until about 4 months ago. I am a neat-freak and I was shocked to see a nasty bug in my apartment, considering the extremely HIGH RENT! I have seen 1 roach in my apartment once every 2 weeks. I kill 1 and another returns. I reported it and even took one (eww) to the office to show the management. They came out to spray; however, the roaches still are not gone! This is disgusting. I am moving as soon as my lease is up!

It seems as if towing companies have a contract with the management here because my car has been towed 3 times since I moved here and my friend's was towed once. The towing company (located in R'ville) is relentless for towing cars around here. They creep around at 3am or so and search for any little thing. Make sure (1) your guest has a parking pass (2) your registration is current, otherwise do not back in (3) make sure to leave your hazard lights on when taking groceries/furniture/items up and downstairs if TEMPORARILY parked in the 'circle'.

Seems like you inadvertently admitted to breaking their towing policy. That's what they do. So next time, make sure you get a copy of their policy.

I live in the complex and the people in the rental office are "ok" ......EXCEPT FOR THE DARK SKINNED WOMAN WITH THE SHORT SPIKED HAIR! She is absolutely rude and should be fired! Her customer service skills are NONEXISTANT

you idiots don't know your head from your own ass. If it sucks so bad, maybe you should consider paying your rent on time for a change...that way the office staff would actually care about your needs the next time you submit your payments and your HOC/Section 8 vouchers. The pickiest residents are the ones who abuse our economy and receive rental assistance. Shaking my head!! As a resident at Winexburg, I understand the universal meaning of respect. I also understand that you cannot demand respect or "stellar customer service" if your attitude is as fowl as the potomac river. I have never had any problems with ANY of the staff members, including Ms. Hair Spikes and the brit (My point exactly, these people have names) because i understand that they work for Grady Management, not for me. Slavery was abolished years ago, so please stop expecting people to kiss your ass because you throw money at an institution that doesn't tickle your fancy.
