I've lived onthe 16th floor of Ashton Heights for five years and I've finally had enough. I reneted the apartment (sight unseen) when I moved to Maryland from Ohio. I have lived in high rise buildings before, so 16 stories didn't bother me. three weeks after I moved in, my car was vandalized. About 12 months after that, my car was stolen. during the five years I have lived there, there have been countless resident turnovers and changes in management. Women have been raped but the final straw for me is the on August 6, 2006, a women was forced into her apartment as she was coming home from work and murdered in front of her small children. My lease ends in two months and I'm otta there. Until then, I'm very careful coming in and going out.
