This complex is the worse dicision I've made. It's was nothing that I expected. It's terrible. The hallways are filthy,trash is always thrown any & everywhere. The elevators stink really bad from people pissing on them. The basement smells like ---- & you have to wait a long time for the elevator to come. Sometimes they don't come at all, skip floors or just shut down. The apts are roach infested. It's so bad that no matter what you do, the roaches keeps on coming back. The peep holes are old fashioned, make noises when looking out of them & you can barely see out of them. Maintenance sucks! The doors makes too much noise when entering or exiting the apts. There's too many false alarms that people pull the damn alarm whenever they feel like it. I can't even blame it on the kids anymore, it's some trife adults also. On several occassions there was a false alarm that stayed on for hours. Like 9 hours to be exact. There's too many fires a month in the trash room in the basement. You don't know if it's real or false until you see smoke. This complex is so unsafe. There have been roberies & killing with no witnesses. Very scary indeed! You can't trust your neigbors & have to watch your back at all times. Makesure your doors are locked & don't open your door too wide, scared that they may see your things. There isn't any cameras on the floors for your safety. People hang out in the entrance that makes the apt look bad. People just let anyone in the key entry door in the lobby. There are so many kids that play on elevators holding them up, run through the hallways. The security officer that sometimes be in the lobby is a waste of the residents time & the landlords money. The need to use that money & get some cameras. Maybe we could solve some crimes & see whose pulling the fire alarms. There's not enough parking in the front of the building. The buzzer in the lobby doesn't work so if someone comes to visit you have to either meet them downstairs or they normally catch the door from someone entering the building. This was a big mistake that I made moving here. I don't allow my kids to go this school district due to them having to come home by themselves & scared that someone may breakin my apt. I am so out of here when my lease is up. I'm done with complaining to the rental office, all they care about is collecting rent while we live in a BS complex. Last but not lease, every word I said is true & if I can prevent a single female or someone with kids from moving her then my job is done.
