I have been living at Capital Crossing since August of last year and really have not had a hard time living here. I've looked at the reviews before me and some were pretty true, but you have to realistic. Capital Crossing Apts. have been making a lot of good progress since I have been living there. They have redid the parking lots and there is ample visitor parking. You just might not have a spot near your apartment, but there is ample parking by the basketball court and along the side of the second entrance. I currently have Direct TV in my apartment and with most apartment complexes because this is not my first one, they will not let you post a satellite on the building. And if you are not in sight for the satellite to get a signal you can't get it. It's that simple. We are living in apartments, not houses. My only complaint is the roaches. No one has lied about that. I have been living in the Forestville/Suitland area for a minute and with previous apartments I have not had roaches. The roaches are off the hook, but hey that's why they sell bombs at Wal-Mart and the grocery stores and that will keep them at bay for a couple of months. As far as the vandalism goes, you can find that in any complex, I mean helllloooo we are right next door to SE. So all in all I have been enjoying my stay at Capital Crossing Apts. Yes I do have neighbors that like to play music loud at times, but hey everyone likes to jam every now and then.

when my nieghbor moved in i just wen up stairs and politely went upstairs and just told like it was and did not get nasty with them and told them i need to be in the bed at a certain time and if they could turn their music down arounda certian time that would be great i have not had a proble with them since. I have also did that liveing in barry farms as a teenager it is all in how you approacha person if they are going to pay you any mind. if you have a problem with the roaches i am telling from experience to go and get a tuesday appointment for the exterminators it will work and than the nest week have them come back i did it and i have not seen roaches in monthes almost a year you also can not use anything form the store with the exterminators because it counteract with it and the best stuff will not work the be thing about it is that you do not have to leave you apartment my children are wlways in the house when they come it is odorless and you will notice the results
