I rencently moved out of Capital Crossing Apartments, and I would like to say that it was not a good experience. I am a senior and I lived on the second floor, the mold in the windows of these apartments were terrible, the bugs in my apartments from the laundry and from outside during the summer continuted to bite me and my husband. This was only the minor things, I actually felt scared in my own apartment. Most of the time when we came home, there was someone in the hallway smoking drugs. And outside boys were selling all types of drugs. The tenants play music so loud you can hardly sleep. And the walls here are so paper thin you can actually here a persons whole conversation. Not to mention that you know when someone in another apartment is taking a shower. My husbands car was stolen twice, I was robbed once in the parking lot, not to mention my neighbor, who broke her lease and left. The hallways were dirty, and the laundry room was always full of water. This is I assume why the fleas would be in my apartment. The were in the whole building. The maintanence people will just walk into your apartment, something I really did not like. And the gunshots you always here, it makes a person scared to go outside. And the rent is too high for all this nonsense. And beware of the utility bills. You have to pay all of your utilities, and let me be the first to tell they are high, my gas bill was 289 and my electric bill was 208 and I don't be home that much or let alone use these, so I can image someone who constantly use there utilities. I am glad that I am now in a senior building, it is the best thing for us, with peace and quiet and no bugs biting us. I thought I would write this review for someone who would be considering moving here to just be cautious. And by the if if you didn't know they have section 8 people there too. A big downfall.
