I created the listing below yours, I live there and it wasn't too bad then what I've heard others say. The walls are thin, I did have the experience of hearing my neighbor upstairs enjoying her midnight company. I didn't have a rodent issue every now and then I saw a roach, never a mouse, and sometimes waterbugs in the summer. There are other horrors such as parking (after hours) and car break ins but nothing different that you would find at any other complex in the area.

I lived there now for 3 years. The walls are paper then as the other writer has mentioned. I don't have roaches because I'm not a nasty person and if I saw one, believe me that one won't have a chance to get the news back to its relatives that there's a vacancy in my apartment. When I see one, I take immediate action and spray everywhere. In the 3 years that I've been there, maybe 2 or 3 have appeared (always after the exterminator has come to spray other apartments). As with most apartmet complexes, you want to live as close to the rental office as possible, never in the back. That's where all the bad stuff tend to happen. I haven't heard of too many break in's or thefts. But again, I live towards the front of the complex where they tend to keep an eye out.

Hope that helped.

If you do have to move to Carriage Hill try to get a unit in the mid rises close to the front of the development. I don't see too much activity there. But for goodness sake don't move into the garden apartments. It is hell back here. The people are funky. They throw their garbage bags in the walkways, sunflowerseed and rocks are everywhere. There are roaches and there is a fight to get rid of them; even after extermination. I don't do mice; there are plenty of cats around here and believe me I have one of them and you can see that mice are present by his activity around the walls. I can say I haven't had a problem with maintenance and they do clean the property everyday. The complex has also hired a security company to get a handle on things around here.

I live in the back of the complex...It sucks! Trash always on the ground. The grass (excuse me what grass). The people in the front office are a joke. My neighbor was killed after living here for over 30 years. His wife was stabbed prior. Tags was stolen, car was hit and towed. DON"T DO IT!!

I'm suppose to be moving in at the end of february, I'm interested in hearing feedback on current conditions at Carriage hill, with regard to crime, roaches, parking resident and visitor parking.
