CRACKHEAD-DRUG INFESTED....RUN PLEASE RUN!!!

I lived in this apartment for 1 month. The staff was the worst, rude leasing consultants, lazy, theiving maintenance. One was severally on drugs because he couldn't remember coming to my house every Friday to unclog my bathroom drain and I knew his name. (But he has never been at my house or seen me, so he said.) On the day that I moved in my patio door was broke, and I didn't have a stove for 15 days, I had to call housing authority 6 times!! On the day of move in while I was signing my paperwork, the other consultant did the walk-thru which they are suppose to do with you. My list of things to be fixed was a legal pad front and back. Then the funny thing when I went to visit the property I was like ok good people work...mmmmhhhh to my surprise no they didn't.The tenants came out around 2 pm and stayed out to 4:30a.m in the morning being ignorant, drinking, smoking weed and fighting. I had to call the police the first night there. They then put a sign on the stoops saying no loitering and the rental office staff would walk by and talk to those sitting there, but not about them moving..and the sign said that there was a fine for you doing so. When we moved in we were trying to move our little bit of furniture up the steps and they were so ignorant that they would not move out the way. Then the rental office was so stupid...they were in my apartment several times to know i didn't have much furniture in my home and gave me a notice for noise violation when all I had was a tv stand and a desk, for moving furniture at 4:30 in the morning. However, the floor was messed up sooooo bad that when you as much as move in your bed the neighbors could hear you. We had problems with the downstairs neighbor to where I had to get a restraining order because the apartment would not do anything about them knocking on my door. Then someone was killed in the back and someone was pistol wiped at the front of the complex and there was blood everywhere. The rent is too much for a whole bunch of crackheads and drug infested, and roach infested apartments. And to back up the the theiving part..mainteance came in my apartment on day and my husband saw the man going through the paper work on my desk, and I hide something that they left in my apartment one day when I knew they were coming...to my surprise...when I came home it was gone. They were there to fix something in my kitchen and the thing was hidden in my room. I advise the rental office and they said that if it was their property they could take it..once again problem=kitchen..item=bedroom. They didnt even leave a note to say they did it. THIS JBG PROPERTY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. And the property manager...he is so pitiful. You call him he don't call back, even the big boss is pitiful..instead of taking owership of the problem he passes you to this person and that person. I WOULD'T MOVE TO THIS PLACE AGAIN OR REFER IT TO ANYONE IF IT WAS AN OPTION TO MOVE BETWEEN THERE AND HELL!!!

It's incredible because Hickory Hill and Hickory Place are both managed by JBG Properties. I would not recommend anyone to live at Hickory Place. The place is drug infested and the police has no control over the violators. The management company JBG has some obvious issues and they really need to address the problem. The county executive Jack Johnson claimed that he would be holding the landlords in the county accountable for providing security to the residents. What happened did he fall asleep or go on vacation. I wager that Jack Johnson will not be doing anything for the residents of Suitland Area. He claims that he would make the landlords accountable for security. Well isn't that a joke....some of those landlords are putting funds into the county's pocketbook which in turns pays his salary. Wow!!!
