Hickory Place Apartments are terrible. The apartments are extremely big. If they had better management and maintenace personnel, the complex would be a great place to live. You have to call three and four times to place a maintenance request, then it still might not get done. It seems the only way to get something fixed around there is to make a big fuss going over the leasing manager and the property manager (Gary Jackson), to his boss, who is located in the head office. They all act as if you are bothering them when you try to get something fixed. I cannot wait until my lease is up. I would recommend living at Westwood Place apartments. The manager there and the maintenance personnel all do their job perfectly. You call with a request and on that same day it will get fixed. I forogt to mention the roach infestation. It's terrible. The roaches are not even scared of the spray that the exterminator that they use has, because they come right back, and stronger. Like I said, management and maintenance personnel are only there to get paid, not to actually do any work. If they had better management and maitenance personnel, the high rent would be worth the units.
