This company has changed it's name several times from Bradford Place, Hickory Place and now the Verona, I wonder why' I moved in Hickory Place almost a year and I am counting my days so I can move. The apartments are spacious except the bathroom. You have either two options to get into the bathtub, option 1: close the bathroom door, or option 2: step over the toilet. Sometimes-other resident s clothes residue from washing come up through my toilet. The management has very low standards. For example, they allow the painters to paint over lint and dust in the air ducts. Also, my bathroom has holes in the floor; it's cracked up, bathtub old and dingy, with cracked off paint. I guess management figures that since the bathrooms are so small that everyone would buy a rug to cover the entire dingy floor. One night I came home from school and the bathroom ceiling had fallen in. Thank God I was not sitting on the little toilet. Now this takes the cake. Another night I came home from school and when I went into the bathroom, the toilet, and BATHTUB WAS FILLED WITH DOO DOO. I mean it was cigarette butts inside the toilet. I had golf ball size doo doo terds inside the bathtub and toilet.... And it was not even mine! That s right someone else bowel movement in my toilet and bathtub. They took care of the problem the next day, but did not even offer an apology. The sink in the bathroom are cracked up and I have to push it back against the wall because it is not totally sealed to the wall.. I pay over a $1000 for rent and it is not worth it. The apartments are old and cracked up. They have this entire apartment complex and not enough parking for everyone. They tow non-residents after 11:00 pm, but by then all of the residents are already home trying to find a parking space. Drug dealers sell crack inside the buildings. Cars are broken into often and the washing machine and dryer are not efficient. You have to drag the little washer to the sink and hook it up. Then, if I wash 2 pairs of jeans and 2 shirts, it would take over 2 hours to dry. Other residents and I just drive down the street to Sudsville, a 24-hour laundry mat and wash our clothes there. If you just want paint on the walls and cheap carpet on the floor, this might be your home. Bottom Line, it is not worth the money. Worse apartment I have ever lived in. Go elsewhere!
