Garbage

Newly renovated my ass. They figure just because they can paint over the dirt, patch up a few holes and put up them fake ass security doors (that every ----- in Parkway Terrace and Silver Hill Gardens had the code to) they can charge all that money for rent. Yeah right this ain't nothing but the old Tooley Street all over again. When I first moved to pkwy terr. back in febuary of 2002, the neighborhood wasnt completed so there was still some vacant buildings I was thinking ok this might not be that bad a nice quiet setting, the halls were always clean, maintenance came when you called. But by June there was so much violence in that neighborhood it was ridiculous (shootings, drug transactions right out front of your window, every other night the police are taping off my parking lot, my neighbors across the hall beating each others asses) then on top of that my apartment was falling apart, I had no air condition, and no screens on my windows. Calling the rental office to address these issues was such a waste of time, and I didnt have any luck calling the corporate office either. Eventually I got my air and screens fixed, but the violence still didnt stop. I couldnt deal with it any longer they raised my rent first to $790 then to $815 within a two month period, and then to have to go through that whole recertification thing made me feel like I was living in public housing I finally put in my thirty day notice in June and moved out in July it is now August and they have yet to go into my apartment. When I called the rental office to see when they were going to do the inspection so that I can get my security deposit back, they told me that they didnt even know that there were any vacant apartments. What' This is just some of my many complaints, but for the people who think that Parkway Terrace might be ok, just because its right across from the metro, its newly remodeled and the rent may be resonable for you dont do it unless you are desperate, and if you do decide to move to this hell hole good luck and here is a number that you will be needing to call every night.
