IT'S TOOLEY STREET AGAIN!

If you have been in this area for years, then you have to heard of TOOLEY STREET. Well, the name has changed but, the same old $hit still remains here. You can change the name and change management but, the bull is still here. I have never seen so many ghetto people in my 53 years. Management ignores maintenance calls, drug dealers hold down the area and some of the children here act like animals. The apartments are falling apart in inside and out. Drive through oneday and take a look. There is to much attitude in the rental office. The take your rent money and you can't get decent service here. Trash is another big problem here too. If you can, DON'T MOVE HERE unlees you love mice, bugs and ghetto neighbors. They smile in your face to get you in here, but when you move in you will see the difference. I advise you to not move here.

It's Parkway Terrace again! It's the same Parkway Terrace that I lived in during the 70s. The heat never worked No hot water Leaking, drafty windows One laundry room for 3 buildings Infested with roaches Hallways rarely cleaned Break ins Tires/rims/cars stolen Drug dealing Winos everywhere It doesn't sound like it's changed at all in over 30 years. |

Wow, I lived in 3505 Apt. #5 from 1973 until 1976.
I live in California now, and when I was home a few years ago..I think around 2000 I drove thru Parkway Terrace Drive..but it looked like it was being remodeled!
I never had a roach, back then..and my rent was ..about $96/month. The management sucked though. I still remember them.
I grew up in Clinton, but worked in NW DC..so I had a quick ride on Suitland Parkway. Ah, to be back there again for a day or two.

I lived at 3522 from 1971 to 1990...is was a fun place grow up until the mid to late 80's...that's when the drugs came and changed everything. If you hung out around there during those times I probably know you...man, a lot went down around there, some real good times, and some real bad time too. It definitley grew me up a little faster because I had to stay on my toes you just never knew what was going to go down...and being female I had to hold my own. I know someone who lives around there now and it really isn't so bad...she lives near the front though.
