I have lived there since 2003 and I'm only staying because I catch the Metro to work and its convenient. I like the Property Manager because she usually gets things done...but if you talk to the person at the front desk nothing will get done. It took over a week for a maintenance request and I had to call Ms. Williams to get it fixed! I believe a featured amenity is "Controlled Entry and Code Use" for all the main doors. However, people know how to jam the locks and keep the doors unlocked and personally I don't feel safe because we have homeless people sleeping in the hallway!! Management knows this and has done nothing about it. Certain neighbors and other random people smoke all day in the hallway leaving cigarette butts and other drug related products on the steps, and not to mention burnt holes and ashes everywhere. I can smell the cigarette smoke while in my apartment and I have to put a towel under my front door so that it will not seep through the cracks!! Lastly, the hot water tends to run out of my building every so often and we get a horrible stench in the hallway. I've been there so long that I'm used to it. I'm sorry Parkway Terrace Apartments but I have to be honest with people so to whoever reads this do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
