I have lived in Pinewood chase for almost two years. Everything these people are saying about it is so true. My move in date had to be pushed back twice because my apartment wasn?t ready. They moved me into a bottom floor apartment when I asked them not to. Their excuse; we can?t hold apartments more that a month. I applied at the end of November and told them I wanted to move in January. What apartment complex can?t hold your apartment for a month' That?s a bunch of bull. Then to make matter worse I am a single mother with one child and they put in a bottom floor apartment facing the back. I didn?t move my valuble stuff in there until I got some bars on my windows, the kind from home depot that can be installed inside your apartment. Before I can do that my apartment was broken into the first week. People broken ate my food and had sex in my bed. They were still there when I got home. The way they got into in my apartment was using a knife. That?s how easy it is to get into these apartment, there are no locks on the window. The police officer told me that I didn?t need to be living in there and that next time I move to get a police report because they have alot of break in over there since the windows don?t lock. I don?t care if they read this because they know who I am. I went to the rental office with a butcher knife in hand and let them know this was the key to my apartment and I wanted to be moved immediately. It took them forever to move to another apartment and on top of they they tried to give me a hard time about. I finally moved in another apartment 11 days later. Now it?s January when I orginally wanted to move in the first place. When you move in you get this check list to let them know of things going on in the apartment for you got it. I gave them that check list. Nothing on it was fixed the entire year. I had no screens, my balcony didn?t lock, I had no security bar, the lock on the door was weak, my stove was broken, the updated kitchens they talk about is a lie because I had cabinets older than me in that apartment. The tubs in both apartments were rusty. The pipes were running and loose. The bathroom had a ceiling leak that was never fixed. I had to call the inspector on them two because the didn?t consider gas leaks as emergencies. I was giving a baby shower and got a gas leak. What made noticible was that soon as you walked in the house the balloons started to bust. I had a total of 4 gas leaks. The gas company had to come out 4 times and cut of my gas leaving me with no way to cook for a whole weekend at sometimes. They suppositely fixed then I had problems with the pilot like staying on. I requested a new stove they never gave it too me.





I have complained about alot of things the kids outside leaving trash everywhere, that?s caused roaches to be in the building and the hallways. Mailboxes were broken kids running on top of peoples cars. It?s horrible.





I have gone to the Management company and complained and they are no better because they won?t talk to you. I had a broken window for over a month during the big snow storm in february. The window was broken by the kids, they never came and fixed it and admitted they had the notice. I read to submit all request in writing to refer back to and that?s what I do. When I moved out they had the window fixed in a week. They had the security bar on the balcony. I finally had to threaten to expose them the news station for a full investigation to where our money is going for them to move me out of that apartment to another one.





I get into this apartment some of the same problems, leaky pipes, leaky dishwasher, no screens, broken window. I sent them a notice of all of this, they did nothing. I called community standards they still did nothing. When the investigator called me that?s when something was done over a month later. They fixed just about everything but this is pinewood chase, something wasn?t going to be done right. I still have no screens in the living room. I am suppose to be getting a new closet door, because I have the wrong kind or door. The door is suppose to have vents. I haven?t gotten that yet, so now I have to open my closet door just to get the air to circulate.





The parking is terrible. They are suppose to be well lit but they aren?t. Every other day the lights outside don?t work. With all the crime going around you would think they would.





I know Pinewood Chase isn?t responble for the crime around there but it?s alot of things they can do to prevent it. Like window with locks, or bars. They said bars are banned but that?s not true because the apartment next to us have bars. The lights working. Police presence in the neighborhood. For as much money you spend there that shouldn?t be a problem.





Speaking of money have you ever gone around and just looked in every building. Stuff is half painted, things are in all the buidlings are different from the mailboxes to the carpeting and steps. Where is the money going that the places can?t looked uniformed' Go in the rental office buidling everything is up to date.





The apartment would have potintial if they there were ran by different people. Right now I wouldn?t recommend anyone move in them. I wish I could get out.

I was think of moving into the apartment complex but have decided against it because of the horrible things I have learned. I have a year old child and i do not want to expose her to that kind of environment.
