Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
I've been here a year and can't wait to move. I have had 3 major leaks in the ceiling of my bedroom, my neighbors are always loud, when the neighbor turns on their shower it wakes me out of my sleep, the windows and locks to the security doors and the laundry room doors are constantly broken. The major issue I had with the rental office is they insisted on wanting to paint my apartment door and leave it open for 30 min. while I was not home. They couldn't understand why I would refuse to allow this to happen and I ended up arguing with the staff and writing a letter to the management office over this matter. After living there for 11 months my car was towed one morning. Either the office forgot to send me and 3 of my neighbors updated parking passes or someone took them off our door (yes the staff their thinks it is OK to leave important materials taped to your front door, verses mailing it to you). They called the tow company and told them not to charge us, but did not call us to let us know what happened to our cars. When I requested a ride to the tow company, apx. 6-8 miles away, they refused to give me a ride to get my car, or give me cab fare, thus leaving me stranded on a Tues. morning when I was supposed to be at work. When I complained to K Management office, I was basically called a liar. They refused to believe that I didn't recieve the parking sticker and they refused to believe the manager didn't offer me cab fare. I would not recommend anyone move there. I think the staff is rude, unproffessional and they treat their tennants like dogs. I have been extremily frustrated with this experience, it has made the last year of my life stressful and unpleasant and I can't wait to move out.
