Left VA to try MD and am on my way back. Overall apartment is very spacious and affordable compared to VA/DC. The problem with Whitehall Square is poor management, location and safety. Anytime you need assistant, the staff is rude, unprofessional or unwilling to help resolve problems. There is also a safety issue at Whitehall Square. The first month I moved into the complex my car was almost stolen, luckily a visitor noticed and scared the thieves away before they actually took the car (had to pay for the vandalism but I?m thankful I still have my car). Lately there has been a lot of vehicle thefts, robberies and car jacking. If you are a single woman ...DO NOT MOVE to Whitehall Square or Suitland..you will regret it.
