Whitehall Square
AVERAGE RATING

I lived at Whitehall from 2002-2005. My car has been broken into twice. But thats PG County for you! The service with the leasing agents were ok; except toward the end of 2005, it would take forever to come fix service request. A friend of mine who lived in the complex was robbed at gun point during the day for $$ and her car. Overall, Whitehall isn't that bad, but the crime speaks for itself, so out of safety concerns, I would not recommend Whitehall.

Wow, this is sad. I grew up living a majority of my childhood in WHS (I went to Woodley Knoll)in the real early 80's and was going to look into recommending WHS to a cousin of mine looking for a new apartment. I remember it being so nice and clean and the pool there was awesome and we could not wait to get our pool passes every summer. We would always jump the fence to the cemetary on Halloween - but would only get a few steps because we thought we would see the 'Goat Man'. Just clean, innocent fun..we never hung out or harassed people. I do not remember any break-ins or problems with the tenants. They were very spacious apartments and kept up really well. Now, I see all of these reviews and wonder, what happened? I am going to have to drive through there with my cousin on a warm evening, since the weather is breaking. It is really sad to see such a wonderful property with so many memories going downhill.
