I was apartment searching on a Saturday morning and came across the Windsor. I was very impressed and came in. When I entered the leasing office, negativity was in the air. I was not greeted, waited 20 minutes for a representative, who said she was just helping out and did not know the complex. I was taken on a tour, now get this we walked a country mile, entered an apartment with wet floors, stepping over mops and buckets, maintenance was sitting in the hall eating lunch, we walked to the 4th floor, the tour person left us, showed us the tiny apartment in 3 minutes, and stood with the door open until we left, could not answer questions, walked us back over wet, slippery floors and foul, nasty graffiti on the walls. As we entered the leasing office she disappeared, another lady appeared and said something would probably be available later in the month and that she enjoyed being the only female in an office of all men (What''''). We never toured or heard about anything at all, community room, ameniities, nothing. They told us goodbye, well I am happy to say that about 2 hours later, I took myself and my over $1000 a month money order to a complex in Washington, DC, had a wonderful tour, very nice management, offered coffee, completed papers, they sent staff out to get my application fee money order for me and approved me on the spot. I move in on the 15th, oh yeah I do not have to pay water or rent a washer/dryer For $40 extra bucks a month, and get a parking spot/garage for an extra $150 month (hahaha) like Windsor Crossing asked. So If you want this nasty on the inside, wannabee on the outside, be my guest. Otherwise go somewher else quickly..

Who ever this person is obviously wants someone to kiss her ass and believe me people will go over board when they dont get what they want. I happen to work in leasing and I have came across some of the nastiest prospects who act as if they are moving into Hollywood but yet have on getto money please! I bet she did move to DC she sounds hood. But that's ignorance for you and it's always a sister with the attitude as if you owe her ass something. She is probably Section 8 too!!

This anonymous person responding to this ad states above that she works in the leasing office - need we say more!!!! can you say ghetto. People the leasing rep above just stated that she owes her ass nothing. Is this truly the type of person that you would like to lease from. Now compare Suitland to Washington DC...obviously she is not on top of the real estate game in DC, I am not the writer of the original comment but I agree with whomever wrote that this leasing office appears to be very ghetto indeed and the truth hurts see how she responded in anger. the truth hurts hahaha. Perhaps we should notify Winn Residential to check this out. If the leasing agent can curse you out online an invisible person what will she do in person, run not walk, run away from here. I beat she has a weave that's to tight!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the pictures I saw of the property, I was very interested in seeing the apartments first hand. I made my first trip on a Saturday in the afternoon only to be told there was no one to show me the apartment since this person was the only one working. She suggested I call and make an appointment for a showing, I did. On the day of the appointment, I showed up and was fed the same gabage, I told the young man that I had made an appointment the week before due to 'shortage of staff', he said he didn't know who made the appointment with me and that I should try again the following weekend (I work in DC on the weekdays). On my third week I was almost giving up, I decided to go anyway this time after waiting for about 20 minutes, the young man took me to see the apartment. It turned out to be smaller than I expected even though my husband and I were willing to move in, but thank you all very much after reading your comments here and reflecting on how it took three weeks for me to be shown a unit, we have decided not to sign a lease with Windsor. And yes, you are all absolutely right, the attitude of the ladies working there stinks!

I'm lookin for an apartment now. I would have to say whil eI have been searching, I have come across some of the same people. RUDE and they do not know how to do their job properly. By reading your comment I have decided to skip out on looking at this place. I can see that its not worth my time. Thank You |

It really upsets me to read the blogs through out this site. There is so much disrespect towards residents, future residents and staff. Just a word of advise, For the staff no matter how tired you are and fed up with loud speaking residents and future resident that come in to your complex you should all ways remain professional, that is your job and you should leave your true colors at the door when you walk in to work. There are laws called Fair Housing Act and you should allways keep that in mind before you speak or ignore some one in your office. And for residents and future residents, remeber everyone is human and can forget that they are paid to do a service in helping you find a home or keep the comfort at you home, if you don't approve of the service you have received don't go crazy and begin to shout. There is allways some one else in the office that you can voice your complaints to, everyone has someone that they have to answer to. Some people just need to be reminded that they recieve a pay check to provided a service with respect.

I experienced the same types of issues with the staff. I am a realtor that used to live in the complex when they first opened and it sounds line not much has changed. If you are looking to buy send me an email at teiamarshall@mris.com I will be happy to put you in a home.

i really find it funny that the people complaining & giving negative ratings never seem 2 live @ the actual apartment. i really think the vibe you put out is what the vibe you get back. maybe you were a rude assh*!e to someone and that sh@t finally caught up to you (thats how the universe works). my experience with the staff to be very positive.

It funny that I had the same experience with the staff. I was apartment serching and stop by this neighborhood. I didn't know that it was income restricted which I am overqualified for, the staff person was so rude. I left there feeling as if they didn't even want to assist in any way. If you are an employee there and reading this just because you work with people with low income status doesn't mean you treat them as such. I don't even live there and if you give the people there the attitude that was given to me I would understand why the residence would make nasty comments about your conduct. Don't take this as a negative let it be one to grow on. You get out of life what you put in it.
