Let me start off by saying I was very excited to be able to move to Windsor Crossing that is until the nightmare started. I was first supposed to move in December 2007 but I kept getting told that the previous renter kept changing her move out date. Finally, I get the word that she will be moving out the middle of January 2008 and that I should be able to move in about two weeks. Now, here is where ---- did a lean to start to turn to go down the hill. I did my first walk through with Ms. Tanya I notice that the apartment was not painted, it was not cleaned, and there was a few pets left behind on the wall. After, we did the walk through I was told that they will bring in a HIGH POWERED pest control company (maintenance men) to delete the pets that were left behind. I was called back two weeks later and was told that everything was all good. This time I did my second walk through long and behold the same pets was in the same damn spot, I guess the so called HIGH POWERED pest control company didn t bring the strong stuff. I went back and got Ms. Tanya and she went back to see that the pets was still there!!!! I then told her that I did not want that apartment at all!!!

We are starting to go down the hill just a little bit. I was called back about a 1or 2 weeks later and told that they had another one available in another building. We took a look at it and it was a go. Get all moved in and that second night my car was towed. I was not told that I needed a sticker so the towing company would not tow my car. Then about 2-3 weeks later I keep my friends car and that was towed. I called the rental office and was told that I need a visitor parking pass for the car. After, I got the car back I sent my son to get a visitor parking pass he was told that I could only keep it for 3 days and if I did not return it they would charge me $50.00.

Still going down the hill but not halfway there, first thing to go wrong on the inside was the towel holder falling off. I had to race home to get a parking space or I would have to park a block away. I called the rental office to see if I could rent a garage in another building I was told that they (rental office) can t do that. I then had a neighbor that moved out that had a garage, I called the rental office again asking about it and was told that it was not available anymore.

Now, we are at the halfway mark. A notice went out that we had to register our car to the property and that we could not have out of state tags. If, we did not switch our tags over that the towing company would start towing. Before this notice went out I notice that a car was parking in the garage that I was asking about that had DC tags. The reason that I am mention this is because the owner of that car had just moved to the complex about 2 weeks earlier before the parking notice went out. And I was told that there is a list that they (rental office) goes by to see the next apartment in line to receive the next available garage. And to top it off she don t even live in the same building that she is parking at (keep in mind I was told that I couldn t do that). Now, this puts me pass the halfway mark!!!! There is nothing I can do. The garbage disposer stops working, I called it in and they never came to fix it. Now, as it start getting hotter outside I find out that my air condition doesn t work and that too was called in. The funny thing is that every time the maintenance guy saw me or my son the first thing he would tell us is he is waiting for some guy to come with the part to fix it and guess what' It s still not fixed and this started the end of May. Then when it rains the top of the window seal leaks and it wets up the carpet. I called that in too and I was told they (rental office) are aware of the problem and they are trying to fix it. We are at the bottom now.

The warmer it gets out side I started having pets in the window seal, ants that is. And as it gets hotter people run their air condition. On the sides of my wall and on the ceiling I notice wet spots. And since my air is not working I don t know what it is causing the sides of my wall and the ceiling to have wet spots. The final smack to the ground is when I hear something dripping it s not raining outside and I am trying to figure out what the hell it is. It s my vent in the top of the ceiling dripping water into the carpet from the apartment upstairs.

I forgot to mention that I smacked the ground 2 times because the reason that I did not get the available garage in my building is because MS. TANYA IS FRIENDS WITH PERSON THAT MOVED IN 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE NOTICE WAS SENT OUT AND SHE STILL HAVE DC TAGS!!!!!!!!!!

I am laughing because i was there. 6 months pregnant in July with no AC, no wait the call was put in to fix it(see the first comment on this place. I am so sorry anyone has to experience these conditions. Well, I have put it out there on this site before, if you are interested in purchasing, give me a call teiamarshall@mris.com. Good luck, you dont have much time to go before your lease is up. God Bless.

Yes I can agree with comment everything is true. Ms Tonya who works in the leasing office is a mess she never know what is going on and says one thing to someone else and does another thing. The parking situation in this community is BAD!! I have poeople in my building that have DC tags and have a parking pass but yet I have been leasing there over 2 years and I couldn't get a parking pass because the address on my ID card didn't match my current apartment address. In addition HAS anyone EVER seen the property Management, who is she and what does she do??? My AC is currently leaking , and i still have problems with the staff not doing their job. The apartments look nice on the outside but on the inside are a complete mess.

I agree! the staf is horrible! we have lived there since May, and everytime I ask for a parking pass with my out of state (non-MD) tags I get denied, even when I mention the cars with DC tags with parking permits. Management is a complete b***h and only comes around to try to throw her weight around. she always has an attitude. I can't wait to move! my car was towed after an event in which all the visitors parking was full and when it ended at 10 i forgot to move my car. when i was complaining to the towing guy, he said i should just ask for a parking permit because he's been complaining about NOT being able to tow people with out of state tags because they have parking permits.

Either someone in management or someone that lives in that development must own a towing truck/company! Someone is getting paid, why else would there be problems regarding parking permits!!!
