I drove all the way from Iowa because the manager said she had an apartment for me but guess what' NO APARTMENT. She also said she'd let me know after a credit check that took 3 days. hello i'm living in a hotel with my life in a uhaul i'm not stupid, i know credit checks don't take 3 days. At the end of 3 days she didn't even call. My credit is perfect. Luckily I found another apartment I could move into immediately. by the way that apt credit check took all of 5 minutes. so if you want an apartment manager that jerks you around, lies and doesn't keep her word than this is the place for you.

With Identify theft being "the next big thing" most people arent satisfied with "only a credit check" anymore.Moat likely the manager was getting verifications from your employers, and where you used to live. That can take several days depending on how long it takes to get responses back from people. The manager should have told you that. Good luck
