I've lived here for over two years and I can't say that I've had much to complain about for the last year. The apartments are affordable, office staff is nice, maintenance is responsive, grounds are clean and well groomed, parking is easy and free, neighbors are reasonable, respectful and even friendly-- that last part was not always true but it seems that over the last year rowdy and suspicious people have left. You can hear some activity from neighboring apts., but nothing too bad (esp. since the crazy people are gone now). The surrounding neighborhood is not great, I wouldn't stroll around there at night or anything, but I never feel unsafe in the parking lot or on the grounds of the complex. Noise from the trains directly behind the complex is annoying, but what do you expect when you rent an apartment on the train tracks'
I've liked living here in general, but our apartment- particularly the kitchen is really small. There is also very little closet or other storage space. For the price and proximity to the metro and downtown, it's great.
