I am so happy I am moving out.
I will be leaving at the end of May.
I have to say that Park Ritchie is one of the worst place I have lived in.
I spend my evening killing roaches. The building is so infested that you see them all the time. I had the exterminator come 3 times, but the roaches are back after a few weeks. The WHOLE building needs to be taken care of... My 3 year old calls them mouscitoes and I am soo glad, because I would not like some of his friends' parents to know how many of these nasty creatures we have to fight every day.
Then the elevators are never working. They are being renovated. The renovation started in August or September 2005 and is still on going. Since then we only had 2 "working elevator". And these are not reliable, because at least once a week one of them is out of service.
I had a water leak in my bathroom and I have asked for repair since the end of January. I doubt that it is going to happen before I move out of the building.
The cabinets in the kitchen are so old that there base is half eaten by ''' The rest is not closing properly and I fear that they will fall one the next person that is going to rent this place. Not talking about the dishwasher which door is hard to open because it is banging on the oven door. I was told that nothing could be done when I moved in, because the dishwasher is just a little too big.
In other words, I know that I may have to pay an additional month when I move out because my lease is up at the end of June and I am leaving at the end of May, but I will not stay in Park Ritchie one more day.
Southern Management has a Great reputation. I had lived in different building managed by you and I need to admit that I had not expected that you would manage a building so poorly.
I know that I will not look for southern management apartment anymore and that I will not recommend you to anyone at this point,
