I moved there in 2005, my apartment wasn't ready, didn't have a stove, my refrigerator wasn't assembled, my bathroom looked just like the last tenant was still living there. My bathroom floor had cigarette burn marks all over it, bathroom was and still is missing the towel holder and tissue holder, vertical blinds in the living room was missing and still haven't received the cord to open and close blinds. Basically this apartment was ready for a move in and after all I was giving this date by the rental office. After making numerous calls to the rental office, I was able to get a stove, all other problems are still the same and my move out is a week away. There is s a heavy volume of traffic throughout the complex, so much they should have traffic lights through out the community. There are more tenants parking spaces and not enough visitors parking spaces, why not assign parking passes seems logical. If you love kids and noise this is the community for you, kids are everywhere. Local hang spot is near one of the huge trash dispensers in the area, local guys start drinking as early as 7-ish and that s weekend and when do they leave' Hope for rain, oops I'm sorry that will not stop them. Within the two years there, there has been at least 1-2 shootings. My laundry facility in my building had a storage area in which the door should've been locked. Someone busted the lock and had a field day in there having sex; there were enough condoms left in there to condemn the entire building as a Hazardous waste, at least they did clean their selves afterwards; how do I know, the tissue and residue is still there. Not to discourage those who may be looking for a quick spot to live or even save some money to purchase a home but think twice before moving to Ashford. There's a lot more to a community besides two huge stone monument signs welcoming you to the neighborhood. And last but least, if you ever want to know anything about a community, ride thru between 3-5pm on a weekday and make sure it s a least 80degrees and sunny, your welcome community will be there to greet you and don't forget to drive thru at night, they will still be there...

That's the Ashford at Henson Creek I know as well.

I couldn't agree more with this person...very on point. Your welcome commitee will also be standing in the street refusing to move and daring you to hit them...GOTTA LOVE IT!!
