All of those who wrote negative reviews about Ashford at Henson Creek must have previously lived in area's outside of PG County - especially southern PG County. Every complex has there ups and downs but face it, no matter where you go in Southern PG County, all of the complexes have something good and/or bad about them. Heather Hills, Carriage Hills, Penn Southern, Forest Village and don't get me started about Forestville/District and Capitol Hgts area apartments. The crime is very high but if your looking for somewhere where the crime is low, security is high, amenities are wonderful and maintenance is on top of their job, consider moving to Upper PG County, Montgomery County or Ann Arundel County. You get what you pay for so if your looking for the finer things in life, pay the price but if you want something affordable now so you can save money to eventually buy a house later, I advise you to live in your apartment, mind your business and don't complain. I'm not in the neighborhood to make friends but more so to have a roof over my head to reach my long term goals.

And that's fine! That was exactly my plan, but when I have my son in an apartment that is 100 degrees, there's a problem. I am fully aware of you get what you pay for. When does paying $1000.00 rent not warrant me to get my AC fixed? Even if you're on section 8, you deserve to not have your family's health in jeporady because the "Manager" doesn't want the warranty on the AC to be null and void. Come on, let's be real :-)

We are glad you like it here but don't compare county to county, apartment to apartment. I don't care how much you pay for something, you have the right to have proper services and far as mind our business & not complain, the property is our business, we pay for the upkeep of this property each time we pay our rent and why are you complaining to us about complaining.

That's the problem with us now, we never expect more for ourselves. Ridiculous, if you like it here, so be it, but even a dog deserves a decent place to live. If you don't expect better for yourself, than that's you!!! And let's keep it real, Ashford has gotten just as expensive as places in montgomery and upper pg, don't even TRY IT!

I agree with all comments. The management are counting on fools like you to move in. You don't have to settle the law is the law - that's why there are checks and ballances. If I were the rental office I would be worried! this property has the most complaints I have ever seen!

I agree with the lady. You get what you pay for. If u are paying 600 dollars a month nine times outta ten it is going to be a dump(roaches, no AC, etc). You do get what u pay for. This apartment complex u pay about 1000 dollars(at least it is safe)Safer than the 600 dollar apt. If u want an apt with no problems then you have to be willing to pay the full amount which will be about 2,000 but that a mortgage on a house. Im not saying that if you pay 1,000 you deserve it, you just gonna get what pay for.

well i lived back and forth at "arbor view" and my 1st few years were good despite the fact they go up on rent almost $100 every year. when i moved back from a year hiatus mgmt changed and it was HORRIBLE!! im sorry but i dont want to come home from a hard days work and see a bunch of youngsters hangin out, nor should anyone be CONTENT and SETTLE for poor mgmt and living conditions. my roof caved in from a dumb azz over top of me and mgmt let it sit for a week, didnt replace carpet and it happened TWICE!! once i had my son i decided i wasnt gonna settle because i dont want to bring my son up around such IGNORANT black people, so yes i moved to a 2bdrm/2bth WITH w/d in UPPER MARLBORO (woods of marlton) for $850 a month!! YES $850!! so trust me, i paid the price for the finer things for the price of a ghetto azz neighborhood off brinkley road!!
