Moving On

I am a current tenant living at Chestnut Hills Apartments for the past 2.5 years and it has been nothing but a nightmare since I moved in, first the closet doors didn't work a nd they had promised to have someone come out and measure the space for new doors (that never happened.) The tenants above me have flooded my bathroom at least 5 different times, when I called maintenance they had the audacity to get upset with me for insisting that they come out and look into the problem (did I mention that this happened at 3:00am and water is pouring through my bathroom vent and the smoke detector in the hallway.) Then they knocked a hole in the ceiling and covered it up with card board and said they would be back on the following Monday to fix it and that took up to 2 months to get repaired. The kids play in parking lot throwing footballs and rocks. The rental office seems to think that's okay since they don't have a playground. Good luck to anyone that ventures on to live at Chestnut Hills you don't have so much as a dishwasher in your apartment. The windows are old as dirt and not insulated not to mention there is a fan in the kitchen which lets the cold air in and you heat out therefore sending your heating and electric bill sky high. Cheap rent means you get just what you pay for......
