My wife and I have been here at Heather Hills for three years in march 07. Since arriving here I must admit the crime rate is no more or less than what is going on in the entire community. Parking is what it is study long study wrong but thats anywhere! As a maytter of fact my brother lives in Brinkley House and just recently residents there only get two parking spaces and NO VISITOR spaces.

I have been in some real tuff spots and the leasing staff has bent over backwards to help us make the rent. In every dealing with Mrs. Lisa regarding assistance with time towards rent she has been there for us! Anytime I have called Mrs. Rosa with a maint., concern it has been dealt with the same day or the next morning to a very high standard or accomplishment.

I think the former residents got what they gave if you act like an "ass" you will be treated as an "ass". I'm not one of her family members either! Other than in the Human family. I was truely stunned at some of the comments but I could read between the lines and read haters!

True on any given weekend you will see two trucks moving stuff in and six moving stuff out. As far as the children here the trouble makers don't live on the property but in surrounding communities, and again it is no more or less then anywhere else.

Maybe the gate would work if people would stop knocking the control unit down, in the last year it has been hit or struck by a vehicle and repaired at 3 times that I can remember.

The rent is high and goes up at a minimum of $40.00 every year that we renew or lease but that is the cost of doing business people must remember this entire area is going to increase in value due to the National Harbor being built, and the new span of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge!

Call me stupid but it is just my wife and I now here the kidds are gone, but we love it and make due with everything else that is a part of life here at the HH. The comments towards the staff I have never experienced any treatment other then professional and certainly compassion.

Last year when we lost one of our daughters members of the satff attending her funeral and they didnb't know us like that, but the came just the same. So again i would remind anyone considering moving here "You get what you give"!

Obviously you know those women personally so they hook you up. I have so much patience and I give respect but when I dealt with them they were very uncaring, unprofessional, thieving. Mrs. Sharon is the kinder but Lisa with her attitude runs the show.

You don't know any of us on here, you don't know what situations went down, therefore you cannot ASSUME we acted like an ass.

Yeah you say, they didn't know you like that but how would they know to attend a funeral if they don't know you like that? They need the address just to get there.

That is true. In some way you must have built up a rapport with the staff....which has changed a bit, mind you. I've noticed at least 3 new people in the office. So far, they are friendly, but they are not the OWNER of the property nor are they experienced with THIS PARTICULAR property. If they are truly good people, I'm sure they will quit or be fired in the next 6-12 months. If they are dirt bags just here for their check, they'll probably do fine.
