My lease at HH ends very, very soon. When I originally moved in, I didnt think the place was too bad...just a regular ol' neighborhood right' HA! Initially Erica in the office put me at ease but after about one month I'd had enough. On my days off, I would awake to the musical stylings of Motown shaking my entire apartment. I could hear each song played word for word. Of course, nobody could do anything about it, right' Not even the police who make "routine" visits to the complex once a week or more. By the way, I'm pretty sure our ice cream man sells more than ice cream, if you know what I mean. Oh, the people upstairs we constantly fighting and abusing each other. Apparently, one night our fire alarm went off, but nobody felt the urge to knock on our door to wake us up. Oh and the roaches were ridiculous! We found them everywhere, including the microwave! Even though we have paid our rent on time every month, we have still recieved at least 3 warning or eviction notices (once because some woman had our check just chillin' in her desk! oops) More recently, they have given us notice that they will no longer service our in unit washer and dryer because they have upgraded their laundry facilities. I've never even seen the facilites, but the reason I moved here was so that I did not have to leave my apartment to wash my clothes, but they dont care. The worst part is since the end of February we have not been able to control our own AC/HEAT!! I'll break it down in case you missed it, the temperature in our apartment is FIXED at 72 degrees in the winter and 78 degrees in the summer.(Negligence, anyone') Yes guys, I'm freezing! This has something to do with the company spending too much $$ on gas...but I thought that I was the one who was paying the bill...hmmm...
