Only been here a month, and I have to agree with the previous response, the walls are very thin. Ever imagined what it would be like to live in a house of playing cards' Then come here!! You will hear your neighbors above, below, and beside you. Conversations, televisions, stereos (awaken a LOT at 4am to loud, booming bass), and not to mention loud arguments, domestic disputes, and intimate sounds (to put it tactfully)! The floors creak terrible, sounds like the poor floorboards are moaning in agony with each step (don't rent unless you're on the top floor, I found out the hard way). My upstairs neighbors are very loud when they're having sex. Sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling, ugh! I really don't want to hear my neighbor screaming out her boyfriend's name (Oh, Al!!!!) to the top of her lungs while they're having sex when I'm trying to get some sleep. When I first moved in, I noticed they had painted so thick, my A/C vent was partially covered as were some of my outlets, that I couldn't even plug in some of my appliances. The phone jack was broken as well. The halls stay dirty with sunflower seeds and potato chip crumbs all on the steps. Dumb people don't even have enough sense to take any pride in their home to keep the halls clean. I'm too embarrassed to invite friends & family over!!! And no one cleans the halls so food and dried Kool Aid stains remain there for days on end! Kids sometimes play in the hallway (there is no playground here, no pool either for that matter), and the parents never correct them, so I guess it's condoned here. Two weeks ago my ceiling was leaking which left a hole in the bathroom ceiling. I had to call a couple of times before it was finally fixed. Sometimes you get the answering service when you call during business hours. What about the office staff' Ha! There is none, it's only one person in the office, who is very unprofessional. These buildings appear to be very old, probably built in the 50's, if not the 40's. It's not well lit at night either, I feel like I need a flashlight when I come home at night. The apartment itself is spacious, but would I move here if I had to do it all over again' Hell no, and I would not recommend to anyone else either. Thank God it's only a 6 month lease!!! I feel like an inmate and this nasty complex is a penitentiary!
