I'ved lived in Princeton Estates for 6 months. Would I renew my lease' Yes. The staff has responded at the rate that I expect for all emergencies and non-emergencies. (I thank heaven I haven't had but one minor emergency since I've been there - decreased shower pressure for more than eight hours)My neighbors are great. I hadn't had any problems with creepy loitering. I kinda like the kids hanging out at times. It adds to the sense of community there. Yeah Sundays are off the chain with the trash but its cool. The trash gets picked up around my building and if there is something that I see that I don't like....I pick it up with my own trash. For what your paying it's cool. Washer and Dryer and Dishwasher and Disposal for under 800 a month. Lets be real. It's not uncommon to have to spend 1600 - 2000 a month for an apt here, you get what you pay for. I think it's great as a starter apartment for the responsible young adult or couple or if you're just looking to start over. I can't vouch for the other buildings or what happened years ago but I like it now. Remember PG ain't what it used to be but it is what we make it.

Is this reviewer living in the same complex?
Apparently not! If you're ok w/ garbage exploding from the dumpsters every weekend (who in the hell would be "cool" with garbage everywhere???) and shady, drug-dealing characters hanging about, rag-tag teens (so-called "sense of community")loitering in front of buildings (don't they have some schoolwork to do or reading?), etc.

I think the poster is one of the "buyers" in the neighborhood and smoked some before they wrote that deluded post!

I say you get out of it what you put in it. To tetee, this was an immature response and I can only assume you are just as young as you sound in your posting. Maybe you should evaluate your approach to the situation and maybe managment will address your concerns. I've driven around the property both day and night, weekday and weekends and those who hang our are rarely on the property itself. You can't expect managment to control the surroundings of the complex, yet address the issues elsewhere. I plan to sign a lease very soon.

mskala...

i think those tenants who have lived there a year and two years can attest to the "neighborhood"/ghetto that is Princeton Estates. i have had the misfortune of living there for 2 yrs. and everything posted is true. There is the shooting, drug dealing in the parking lot, etc., etc. It's not a good place to be and was a "do what I gotta do" option for me. Two persons were killed the first year, had to tip and jump over a blood trail beginning at the very first front dumpster and ending at Dallas Dr. During my second move to a "transfer" apt., a lady was robbed in my building (she then moved out afterwards). So save your ignorant insults for tetee and attach them to yourself: you obviously speak out of IGNORANCE being a new lessee; having "driven around the property day and night" and a couple of other days (imagine that...)DOES NOT give you knowledge or authority to post here. You will learn...soon; and your post will as negative as those before yours when the "Estates" is done with ya... if "you can't EXPECT management to control the surroundings of the complex" then you belong at Princeton Estates, and shouldn't be upset with "management" for not handling any concerns you'll have. And while you're at it, don't bother reading your leasing agreement (which you won't)!
