I lived here only because the housing for the college I was attending (Villa Julie) for some reason chose this place for us to live. when we first moved in, you couldn't walk on the carpets without shoes or else your feet would be pitch black. We luckily had one washer and dryer so we didn't have to go to the laundry mat, but that means we only had one toilet, so when it broke, it took about 4 or 5 months for the maitenance men to fix it. and they came back over 30 or 40 times, every once in a while the frequent noise of the toilet comes back amd haunts us. Most of them hit on us girls, and did a lot of drugs...obviously. We had mold coming from our closets, bathroom, and shower, and the bathroom ceiling was so bad that it rotted out the dry wall and the upstairs bathroom leaked all over our sink and hair stuff. Out electricity would get overpowered easily when we would play guitar, and we had a lot of problems depending on our heat. And when you really needed maitenence, it took anywehere from one day to four weeks to get a response. The houses smell like must and mold, and all your clothes smell like it too, my parents would always complain about how bad my things smelled when i came home, and it took a while to get the smell out of my hair. It took a few days to completly wash all of my things to get the smell out. Also my porsche got keyed all over both sides, the back and the hood(that person was never caught) and it was hit with something....it is right on the street and with all of the rapes and robberies around im surprised nothing else happened. Also my friend's car got hit by a drunk driver one night when he parked on the street because there wasn't any more spaces near our house. The only thing I liked about the colony is the location of our house because iot was bigger than a lot of other houses, and we had private area outside our door, and just on our row, there was decent open parking spots, but i cannot say the same for my other friends living at the colony....in a shorter terms, dont go there....it sux...i will never return...
