Please don't do it! The Colony is dirtier than an ant colony! I wake up probably 3 nights a week to screaming college kids. I have had to get a car towed out of our parking spot 3 times! My lease is up July 1, but I am leaving May 25th! As for the staff in the leasing office... STUPID, DUMB, INCONSIDERATE, RUDE, MOODY, STUPID STUPID, DUMB, UNINTELLIGENT, MENTALLY IMPAIRED!!! If you need anything for maintenance, you have to go to the office in person and raise hell. I live in a 2-story townhome and there is water leaking from the upstairs bathroom onto our bookshelf everyday! I don't even bother calling maintenance; my Dad fixes things better! The heating bill was $400!!! That is nearly half our rent! The heating units are so old and barely do anything! They don't bother fixing the place up because it is all college kids that will stay here 2 years max!! We had a mouse in our kitchen, UPS deliveries get stolen, the pool had maggots in it, and my car has received 3 new dents in it! I've even walked out to my car in the morning to find cups of BEER on it!!!! Parking sucks if you have more than 1 car. The only nice thing is that the grounds and landscaping is pretty! (except when college students trash it!)Don't do it! Live on the streets!! Save yourself daily headaches!!!!
