Horrible neighbors, ever-changing management, mice, rent increases

1) The colony does not screen its residents at all. I park in a carport under a deck and on more than one occasion I have had witnessed their dog pee on mine and the neighbor's cars. Imagine waking up to that in the morning.
Above me there lives neighbors who like to slam on the ceiling at 2 am. I have also seen cop cars on my street on multiple occasions and neighbors taken away in handcuffs. I don't know for what.
Basically the Colony will allow anyone to live in its facility.
2) Management right now under Carmen Miller is Ok. She is fairly nice and she tries, but management has changed here three times in the past year. The buildings are starting to deteriorate and the walls are paper thin. I have a huge floor fan on full blast at night to sleep.
3) You are guaranteed to have mice while you live here. You are given really inhumane sticky traps which leave the mice struggling to live until you kill them yourself. If you have never killed a small mouse before, be prepared. You will.
4) If you want to renew your lease they will raise your rent significantly. Don't be enticed by the low starting price. Rent will go up 100 bucks or more every time you renew. Also insulation on the windows is so poor that to live comfortably your bge bill will be high.
All in all if you are desperate for cheap living in Towson, the Colony should be a place you avoid at this point in time. Hopefully they can work to get their act together, but right now it is a real mess and a real shame.

Ok---some of this review is ridicules. To start of, I am NOT an employee. I worked here about 4 years ago and moved out of state. I recently moved back, but not here.
So for you point # 1--yes, they DO screen residents. Just because someone doesnt have a criminal record doesnt mean they are a criminal. Plus they dont screen your friends, family, co-workers, etc who come to visit you. And please tell me how a dog peeing on your car constitutes to not screening residents??
Point # 2) Managemnt changes often becuase its actually an undesired job. You REALLY have to have a knack for it. Imagine being responsible for someones money AND thier home. Its not an easy task (I know, I've been in residential property management for more than 8 years now)
The mouse problem---sorry to hear. Call the health department.
Point # 4 Rent will always go up. Period. You were "enticed" by the lower prices not becuase that was the actual price, but because it was a "special" and the "special" is only good for a year. If you moved somewhere else most likely the same thing will happen (you get in for a good price for a year, then the next year it will go up to the original price) But hey, some people like to move every other year.
This place ws nice when I was here, and thinking about moving back.
Can someone give me an HONEST opionion about this place????

This guy is my roommate and he was honest.
1) Noise at all hours of the night.
2) Cops constantly showing up all around the community. I have personally seen or heard of neighbors being arrested for public intoxication, drug use, and vandalism within the community.
3) Mice guaranteed, like I said
4) Inactive management. You are a moron btw. Management changes often because its undesired? There are plenty of apartment communities that are owned for years by the same landlords. What exactly is your point? Also I told them about the dog pee thing for 2 and a half weeks, when they did nothing I called the cops. This place is a disgrace.
What about my review was not honest?
