Wouldn't stay here for long

Although these apartments are available for fairly reasonable price, you'll definitely be getting what you pay for. My biggest complaint is the smell in the central stairwells. Most days it smells like a nursing home or dump. I think this is sometimes due to the trash being stored in the basement. The renovated apartments are nicer than the older version, however, it quickly becomes obvious that only the minimum to make things look better was done. I have had repeated problems with water leaking into the apartment below me, requiring several "emergency" maintenance visits. However, they continue to only patch the hole and not fix it, so periodically it leaks again. Although the french doors are pretty, they are also drafty. However, heat is included in the rent cost, making this slightly more bearable. There are only 2 washers and 2 dryers for every 2 buildings, which can make it difficult to find an empty washer and dryer when needed. The grounds are well manicured, except the lawns are generally peppered with dog poop careless owners fail to remove. Parking is okay unless you're coming in late at night when open spots are few and far between.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this apartment complex. It's not a terrible place to live, but I couldn't imagine staying here long term.
