I am currently "staying" at CHS, and I would have to say No. At first I thought it was such a great place to live, but I was wrong. The buildings are very old and need an update badly. The kitchen appliances are also very old. and outdated. There is dog poop everywhere and the building smells like crap. I think they should assign specific buildings for pet owners. The parking is also Horrid...dont bother coming home after 10 pm. Also I witnessed a couple fighting from 1-3am in the morning.It sounded like they were wrestling each other and it seems no one calls the cops around there. They were cursing like trailer park trash anf no one did a damn thing. If this were my own apt I would have called the cops, but it was not my place to do that. For 899.00 for a 1 bdrm, it is not worth it!

Ohmygosh! Someone feels the way I do. I am currently staying at CHS and it is terrible. My apt building has (7)dogs, smokers, and a neighbor who snores like a pig. Some nights I cannot sleep because of his snoring. How ironic it is that I do not live with a person that snores but I will have to purchase ear plugs. Building is extremely old!!! I have to leave early next year. You think that they would clean the hallways everyday because of the amount of dogs! It stinks and all that odor comes in your apt. Don't be fooled by the location and space; conditions at CHS is below standard. But if you smoke, snore, have many dogs,and love squeaky floors;this is the place for you.

Oh my God times three; this place sucks and I agree with everything the first (especially) and the second responses! Thank goodness for honesty. My roommate's car was broken into along with someone else's car that was near hers and right in front of our apartments. There is no sense of security around here after dark and it's scary to walk back especially being female from parking in bum***k Egypt (very very far away) after 9:00 PM and I am a paying resident so why isn't there enough parking and don't even get me started about the lack of visitor's parking. Additionally, the entrances are not even locked so anyone can just walk right and do who knows what. I was desperate to move in somewhere and will not make that same mistake again (hopefully). The apartments are really really old and has paper thin wall so I witness a lot more than domestic fights, which I was a also witness of.

OMG times four. I had the greatest impression from when I moved in literally a few weeks ago. I have a renovated apt at that which is beautiful, but the floors are so bad and I have gotten 0 sleep I moved in this place because I am awakened every night by the loud creaky noises. I wish the rental office would be honest with some things before taking peoples money. I cant wait to move!!!!! I also was desperate to move to a 2 bedroom but wont do that again either.

PARKING SUCKS (VISITORS HAVE NO PLACE TO PARK) -DOG ---- ALL OVER THE LAWN -EACH TIME WE LOOK THE OFFICE STAFF HAS CHANGED -I CAN HEAR EVERY MOVE THE NEIGBOR ABOVE ME MAKES BECAUSE OF THE FLOORS -OUR HEAT NEVER WORKS IN THE HEART OF WINTER -MY HALLWAY IS ALWAYS DIRTY -THE WATER IS SHUT OFF MORE THAN ANY PLACE I'VE EVER LIVED. -LEAKS LEAKS LEAKS -MOLD MOLD MOLD -MICE MICE MICE (I EVEN SAW A RAT) YES!!!RAT I HATE THIS COMPANY OUR RENT WENT UP SKY HIGH THEY ARE A BUNCH OF MONEY HUNGRY CROOKS. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!

Out of curiosity, did you take the time to call the cops when that couple was fighting? How can you expect anyone else to take the initiative if you're not willing to do it yourself?

I just want all of you to know that I have read your grievances, and has decided to look elsewhere. Alot of folk don't take the time to read reviews...but I will not make a move otherwise. Thanks for giving me the "inside" scoop b/c like you've said...the rental office staff are not going to do it. Hope your next homes will be a much better experience.
