it depends on who you are

If you're a college student, and your parents are paying for you, you'll probably think you're in a really nice place. If you have a minute of life experience beyond college, you'll realize your paying lots of money to live in an apartment complex with too many college students who are loud, rude, dirty, and difficult to live with. Then there's the inexplicable random family with small children who run halls like herds of horses throwing candy wrappers, cookies, and smearing chocolate on the walls. Forget the reflecting pond garden, it's the kids' playground. The building is cheaply CHEAPLY built and should be in shambles within a few years. Leasing agents are nice. Ski is the fixit guy and very good (but doesn't handle everything). The property manager has missed her calling and should be a warden in a psychiatric facility. Perhaps she was brought in to deal with the college students, but she doesn't work well with functional people who earn a living (including her own staff). The place was still under construction when I moved in. Despite the paper thin walls and cheap construction, I thought I'd like it, then came the droves of college students, families with many small children, and the new property manager, who will actively look for ANY reason to keep your 800 - 1000 dollar deposit plus assess any number of fees. I wouldn't go near her without a lawyer-altered contract. She'll get you.
