This place is not as bad as some of these people would make you think.

I came on apartment ratings because a friend of my told me what she saw on this site so I wanted to check it out myself. This is ridiculous. If you want true testiment, contact me. I move here in August of 2005 and just renewed for another year. I have to admit that it was crazy because the old management company was too lenient and let resident do whatever they wanted. They let anyone in this place and let people and their guests take over the garage. That was not fair to the rest of us. Just like the other reviewer said, the place has drastically improved since March when UDR took over. They have been responsive to my requests, I actually like the way they have taken over and making things better at Dulaney Crescent. I checked the company out and they are a good company who care about the community. Check them out if you don't believe me. I think instead of reading all this stuff and making assumptions, I think you either contact me, or call and talk to the new staff. They are very pleasant.

People should stop complaining about the towing because it is for the better. Think about it, would you rather have them tow a car that is not meant to be in the garage or you not have parking. Look, this place is getting better and you need to come and make your own decision. I would defnitely recommend this place.

You???re a moron. I was there back in 2005 to 2007 and the place sucks. I do Construction contracting and on that note I guarantee I know more than you'll ever know so shut your mouth. Just because nothing has happened to you doesn???t mean it hasn't happened on a large scale to the community. I had my car towed and I live there. My cabinets fell apart consistently. I was constantly disrespect by the immature punks in the office so on and so forth. You sound like one of the management staff trying to save face on a bad place to live. No one cares about the community around there only money. I???m sorry but if you are an actual tenant than you have been thoroughly deceived. Why are you trying to stick up for them do you think they give a crap about you after you move out? And what about rent increases? Please do us all a favor and quit lying to the community!

I don't know who you are, but definitely you are delusional or a very lucky resident in this place -- pray for things to continue in that way for you. I lived in this building and can identify myself with all the negative comments posted earlier. This is a hell of a place to live -- bunch of noisy and spoiled college kids, dirty place and cheap appliances. Constructions all over, unbelievable expensive rent for what it is offered. Staff cares less about residents. I also had my apartment flooded twice (fortunately not with dirty water -- at least that I'm aware of). We lost many of my belongings as we were traveling that weekend. Coincidently, the air-conditioner breaks always in summer (mine broke the three summers I spent in this place), and believe or not, I always had problems with hot water in winter. My husband got pneumonia with cold showers. It takes them forever to fix things. I still can't understand why they need more than a month to fix your faucet or noisy bumping filled of air on the plumbs that wakes you up every 5 minutes during the night. Everything in this apartment complex is about making money on the expenses of residents. Now, I heard that they are charging for the swimming pool. It is simply a joke. As for the towing part, I had my car towed once and my husband twice (from a spot we are paying for every month). We both lost a day of work, plus spent money for nothing and needed to deal with extremely rude towing people, and yes, they are expert in providing you with the wrong/vague address, and guess what? The office management doesn't know where they are located -- hahaha. Simply a hassle, and we did have the tags displayed on the car, but it is our word against theirs. After that, we started developing neurosis about leaving our house for short trips and checking the garage 10 times a day to make sure that our cars were still there. Finally, almost every month, we needed to leave our jobs during office hours to prove that the rent amount paid was correct. The management insisted that we paid the wrong amount and sent us fines to be paid in a short period of time. We needed to bring our contract every month to show them that it was correct. What a pain. Good luck if you want to try, but I'm sure you are going to regret. This apartment is a HELL.
