Worst Experience--Stay Away!!!

We moved into a two bedroom apartment on the second floor in September 2008. The apartment gives off a pretty good first impression, but don't be fooled. About a week later we noticed the mice. Since then we have killed about 70 mice. The entire apartment complex is infested, and an exterminator is supposed to come once a week, but that is not always the case. There are also roaches, we've seen some over an inch long. Maintenance is needed often, but very rarely comes to take care of the problem. Just to get them to come over, you usually have to wait at least a week, if you're lucky, and you have to hound the office constantly or else they won't come at all. When maintenance does come, they look at the problem, say they will be back to fix it, and never come. The ceiling in the second bedroom has been leaking for months, and we notified the office a number of times, but it has yet to be taken care of. The office people are irresponsible and rude. We are obviously leaving before our lease is up, because paying $995 a month, plus $20 for "pet rent" every month, is unacceptable while living with mice and roaches. However, despite all the problems and the unhealthy living conditions, they are making us pay for the time we won't be there. This has been the worst experience of my life and I feel sorry for anyone who gets stuck in a lease with these people.

My daugther lived in Dulaney Valley for some of the same period of time and had an entirely different experience. The rental office staff and maintenance were courteous and responsive and there was no problem with mice or roaches. I would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, spacious, quiet place to live in Towson.

Wow--I guess everyone has different experiences. I've lived here for several years and I like it. I don'y have mice or roaches (yuk!) but I have heard people say they've seen them around me building. No, its not paradise, but I like it and the towson area.

Yeah ok, nice response apartment staff. Thats why theres huge multiple hole mouse traps around the perimeter of every building. The exterminator even personally told me that he hates dealing with the staff. He said hes told them multiple times that the buildings need to be set up to be mouse proofed but they told him theyre not spending the money. And not that the staff can control the volume, but this place is anything but quiet. When I walk my dog Ive asked multiple other dog owners and they have all told me they have mice issues as well.
