Unfair eviction

Kenilworth are decent apartments, but considering their price they are not worth it. Other than location (for students at Towson U) the apartments offer nothing special for their high price. In addition the walls and floors are extremely thin, making noise easily heard. During my short stay at Kenilworth I was a top apartment tennant living with three other people. After a few months new downstairs neighbors moved in. These older people found it necessary to complain about every step we took. They periodically came ranting and raving to our door about the intense noise. (even though it was soley the four of us watching tv). The leasing office asked us to leave after 3 formal complaints (from the same apartment)or they would take the steps to evict us. We got descriminated against for being young and our word meant nothing against the word of older tennants. I am completely dissatisfied with Kenilworth apartments, they are extremely overpriced, the air conditioner only worked in the living room, the leasing office is rude, the pool is dirty and covered by shade, the apartments are wooden floored (loud), and there are older (sensitive) people sprinkled amongst a majority college aged complex population. In addition, you must mail your rent out to an outside company, which is extremely difficult to work with. For example our very first months rent was sent back to us because the checks were sent in two seperate envelopes. Once we recieved the checks back we placed them in the same envelope and mailed them back in. For this we got charged a $50 late fee, not exactly fair. Overall I DO NOT reccommend this apartment complex.
