I've lived in Kenilworth since 1999. It was fine while attending college, but following graduation (and the implementation of new management) the complex went severely downhill. First of all they are OLD apartments with cracking plaster; old fixtures, pipes, and appliances; extremely thin walls (I can actually smell the odor of bile after my downstairs neighbor uses the bathroom!); and are incredibly over-priced. This was not a big deal while in college, when you don't expect to be living in a palace and when your parents help pay for rent. But now, as a young professional I can say that this is an absolutely awful place to live! There are tons of college students, which = parties (every day of the week). We've had throw-up on hallway walls, beer cans are everywhere, and there is never any parking. I've even had mail tampered with and stolen on occasion. Management has been of absolutely no help to any of our complaints. I agree with the other poster who said this is NOT the place to live if you are a good college student or a young professional. The person who posted "poor value" is absolutely on the mark! I am actually embarrassed to admit that I live here. Good thing I only have one month to go!
