The WORST!

Unfortunately, I am still under my lease but I often stay over friends homes just to get a good nights sleep. If you move in during summer, you think it's nice and quiet with plenty of parking. But as soon as Sept comes and all the MANY college students return, it gets VERY ugly. First of all, there is WAY too much noise and the walls are too thin. There seems to be no insulation as I can hear my upstairs neighbors having "intimate" moments, using the bathrom, and having general conversation. If you have a neighbor with gym equipment, like a treadmill, FORGET ABOUT IT--your whole apartment will shake for as long as they are excersizing. The worst thing about Kenilworth is the parking. You will get towed at the drop of a dime. Do not let your plates/tags expire or else the tow company acts like the police. And please do not park without your parking pass. The tow company drives around (literally) 2-4 times a night just looking for cars to tow. And the complex allows this. You have to pay about $220 to get your car back from a VERY dangerous area (on North Avenue). Shady and scary place!
So basically, if you must live here, try to get the top floor apartment, make sure you dont have too many friends (cause they won't have parking) and prepare to hear all types of things you would rather NOT hear from your neighbors. It sux. I cannot wait until my lease is up!

I totally agree with this reviewer! This is the worst managed apartment in the area in my experience. They really do tow your car at the drop off a dime!! They insist that the visitors park at allocated stalls, but the few visitors stalls are always full with regular resident's cars! Go figure!

For someone who calls themself a 'professional' that was a pretty immature comment. You are probably one of the many complaints against this place.

This comment is ridicules and so is the first person who commented. I worked here for only 3 weeks as a leasing consultant and like to read reviews from time to time.
First of all--it's an APARTMENT. There is no apartment where you can't hear your neighbors bathing, having sex, talking, etc. What do you think the walls are made out of? Steel? It's drywall and a little insulation. Thats how ALL construction is lately..pretty sad.
You need to expect that.
Secondly, people (staff) are damned if they do and they are damed if you dont. Like I said I only worked there for maybe 3 weeks, but hated it. I just cussed out 5 or 6 different times from people who had their cars towed and other resident who WANT other cars towed.
Residents complained if their was a car w/out tags and got mad if you didn't tow it!
Crazy!
So, the rules were laid out for everyone. It will be towed if there are no tage. PLus they're were people who DIDNT live thier parking their cars for days there. So it gave ppl no choice.
I couldnt STAND working there b/c I got b****** out everyday..like i PERSONALLY towed their car away..right....

The poster is correct. I have lived in other apartments before and not heard EVERY SINGLE THING like you do at Kenilworth. This place bites and you know it! Just turn it into Towson Dorms. With the shuttle and everything else, you do not want adults living here. You want students so advertise this place to them.
