I have been a tenant at Kenilworth at Charles for over twenty years now. In that time they have had a new manager every six months. The last manager, Brian (I think was his name, was the best thing that ever happened to this place. He used to ensure that all the balcony decks where free of trash and debri. My neighbors and I would see him actually knocking on doors to have people remove their trash and often would see him picking up beer cans and trash off the grounds himself. He made things happen! When I asked for a new kitchen floor, after having the same one for the entire time I lived here, he made it happen! When the neighbors had parties, he put a stop to it! And he put a new model apartment in my building that was beautiful. I'm not sure why he left, but I sure wish he would come back again! He was the best manager they ever had! He really cared about the seniors that lived at the property and wasn't afraid to stand up to those that wanted to have big loud parties every weekend (he was here almost seven days a week). This place had mice everywhere; but when that last manager was here (and made everyone remove their trash from their patios)the mice went away. All the seniors at the community really miss him! He did
so much for this community in the six months that he was here! It was amazing!...

Actually, I heard he was the WORST MANAGER ever. I heard that he hid from all the issues and being out in the community was his way of hiding from all the work. He would use the girls in the office as a scapegoats while he got paid the big bucks.

The WORST MANAGER comment is from one of the old employees that was let go in an effort to restructure the team to be more efficient and productive. C.C. former longtime tenant and a friend of the senior that wrote about missing him. I also miss Brian! I had to move out after loosing my leg to diabeates. The only people that have a problem w/ Charles are ex employees and tenants that don't like to follow the rules. You can't find anything better in Towson for the money and Continental is a great Management Company! Trust me, I'm over 62, I've lived in alot of apartments!

I live at Kenilworth at Charles and I love it. I used to live here before and I have also seen alot of managers come and go. I don't remember Brian, but like I said I have seen many faces. I moved to another community and it made me realize how much I missed my apartment at Kenilworth at Charles. The staff is new, even the manager, but they are nice and treat me and my roommate like we matter. So, I'm not sure of the problems that may have existed in the past, but it's a beautiful place to live now. I'm glad I came back this year!
