I've lived at Churchill's Choice for nearly a year now. For the price, this place is beyond sad... beyond a waist of money. A couple of weeks ago, a woman was ROBBED @ GUNPOINT in front of one of the buildings. The office staff did NOT alert the other residents. I found out from another tenant. When I asked the office staff about it, I was told, "If your that concerned about it, talk to the management." WTF''' B**ch, aren't you the management' Last year, another woman was RAPED at the pool. When I asked about that incident, the management person (Karen) said, "Oh, that. We don't even know if that was legitimate. It happened downstairs in the fitness room." I asked, "aren't there cameras down there'" She said, "Yes." I asked, "Did the cameras catch anything'" She said, "I don't know. I didn't check them." I asked, "Did the police check them'" She said, "No. That's PG county for yah. This kind of stuff happens all the time." WTF''' Prior to this conversation, when I first walked into the office, (I was dropping off my 60-day notice to vacate)she was telling me that people who came to Churhill's Choice on a "special" will "Only see a $25 increase in their rent when the new lease starts." WTF' Then she says, "We're trying to keep people." Why the F**k would you try to keep me here when u KNOW a woman was raped & another was ROBBED @ gunpoint'' Needless to say, I'm moving as SOON as my lease ends.

My advice to anyone who reads this, unless you want to pay a grip of money for the same thing you'd get at Temple Hills apartments.... go for it. If not, you're better off paying for a townhome. You'll pay almost the same price but with less neighbors and more privacy. Do yourself a favor & STAY AWAY!

You mentioned a couple of weeks ago, but I see you response is in July 28. We just received a notice that a woman was Robbed at Gunpoint on Sunday this past week, and this is August 19th. Is this the same incident?

Unfortunately, no. The one you were told about on the flyer was the 2nd one which occurred a month after the one I mentioned. I guess more people complained that they weren't warned. I also heard they replaced the doors on the main entrances. They have these signs posted claiming they have "closed circuit" cameras, but that's a lie. Just be careful coming home at night. Do a quick look around the area before you park and have your keys ready, in hand before exiting your car. Good luck to you.
