I lived at the Woods of Marlton for a year and I had a horrible experience. From the day i moved in my bottom floor apartment i had problems. The screen to the sliding glass door was hanging off the track, none of the windows had screens, the washing machine was broken and had stale water in it from the last tenants, the closet door was off the hinges, there was mold spots on the cieling, and there was a wet spot on the floor from the airconditioning unit. I put my complaints on the walk-through list and called frequently about the problems. They fixed the washing machine but everything else was the same the day i moved out as it was on the day i moved in. The wet spot eventually turned in to an litteral flood, soaking the carpet, the furniture and electrical equipment. When i called the emergency 24 hour maintanence they tried to make me wait a week until i threatened with leagal action. Then it took 3 days for them to plug fans in the apartment to dry the rug. Fans that ran up the electricity bill and the house still had that moldy water smell! They say they have extermination but i never got the service, i had to exterminate myself. The kids were disrespectful and unsupervised. They hung out in front of the building runing up and down the stairs, yelling and cursing. When it snowed they threw snowballs at cars for entertainment. Again, management does nothing! The hallways, especially in the basement where my apartment was, stays filthy and stained despite the supposed "cleaning service". In the winter when snow covered ice filled the walkways and parking lot, the snow had to melt itself because management sure as hell didn't shovel. The apartments are also small- when you walk through the front door, turn around in a full circle and you've seen the whole thing(which isn't a necesarily a bad thing if "cozy" is what you're looking for). Parking is ok at times. Sometimes you get a good spot sometimes you got to hike (never too far of a walk, just far away enough for your car to get broken into without there being any witnesses!) Bottom line Maintenance/Management SUCKS!...they know it and they dont care...unless you're late making a payment!
