If you read this ... please remember that the good ratings are all dated a few years ago. The management just plain blows now.

I've read all the reviews on the Woods of Marlton and they are all going to be just like mine. I wish I found this website before I moved in. Other people have said they had appointments but the management had no clue about. Well, exact same thing happened to me twice -- I even got the managers writing on a piece of paper for a date/time and she still did not remember. The front desk workers/management have the personallities of a box of ants and seem to want you to do their job for them ... unless you are late on a payment, boy then are they doing their job. Someone's car gets broken into on a weekly basis around here because the lighting is so poor. The stairs going up to your apartment are so small that we had to take apart nearly every piece of furniture to get it to the third floor. Their stairways on bare wood which are slippery, have no sound muffling and stain with everything. The 90% of the lights in my stairway have been broken since March 2004 and it's now Oct 2004. My washer/dryer unit was broken the day I moved in and it took them 23 phone calls 14 office visits to management 5 repair attempts for them to fix it (yes I recorded everything about this problem). My fireplace glass was shattered all over the floor and not even cleaned up on the day I moved in. When they painted my apartment they painted over EVERYTHING!!! Wall outlets, switches, closet hinges, cable jacks ... EVERYTHING!!! The place has no HEAT or COLD insulation from outside either. Someone could kick your front door down with minimal effort. You are not allowed to get an alarm system according to your lease fine print. The maintenance team here is the laziest, dumbest bunch of rocks you could imagine. Fix something' yeah right. Did you know they do not have to knock when the come into your apartment reguardless if you are sleeping or in the shower. My wife was in the shower while they replaced our washer/dryer and didn't know until she came out with a towel around her and they were pulling the old one out the door. I am seeking legal actions on that one. There are electrical code violations all over the place (I'm an electronic engineer), the circuit breaker box is not labeled properly and you cannot completely shut your heat/AC off if you want to. My electric bill was $140 for the month of July. I was not home but maybe four days in August and I shut my AC off at the breaker box and my electric bill was still $120. I called Pepco (the power company) and they are coming buy to check my apartment for either fraud or 'leaking' lines. In lay-mens terms, charging you for electricity you did not use. The maintenance team scratch my wall and left a 16 foot long black line down my
white wall when they removed my dryer. When I told the manager she said "Does it bother you' We are just going to paint over when you leave anyways". What kind of crap is that''' On THREE occassions the manager was trying to help me fix my problems and she said "call me back by xxxx". well, when that time came around and you would try to call her you would find out "She went home early today". How convienient. Did you know a resident of the community placed thousands of fliers around the complex listing complaints. The management finally replied that they will schedule a town-hall meeting next week. Well, ... again their self scheduled time line has failed once again. The kids that live around here are just plain stupid. They stand in your way when you drive by, they have no manners ... they bounce basketballs on their WOODEN BALACONY! When you ask their parents to have them stop because it is vibrating your apartment walls they get into racial issues on you. The residents litterally drop their garbage within 10 feet from the dumpsters and leave it all over the ground.

I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Beauru and am making this place known on every website I can think of.

I need to quit writting more because I'm just getting mad all over again. I already have legal action in started to help us out.
