I have recently moved out. I moved from a luxury apartment complex and moved straight to this building. The great thing is no one is over you. The parking is OK.
It is adjacent to another neighborhood and people commonly walk from the mall or food lion thru fox chase. Sometimes the walkers are a bit suspect. There are a lot of dogs in this complex. Most owners are good. But somehow dog crap always ended up on the grass near my apartment.
I have moved out and into another luxury complex *across the street* the difference is NIGHT and DAY. To have more than 2 windows, to not hear the boom systems all hour of the night. To have a working washer and dryer. To put a service request in and have it fixed the next day if that. Yes its more expensive where I am now but you can not put a price on how much happier I am!
