If you value the pure convenience of the Wheaton Metro Stop being below the building, then this is the place for you. If you value respectable neighbors, amenities, reasonable rent, and a quiet atomosphere, then stay away. The street noise is unbearable if you should rent facing Georgia Avenue and the neighbors and their children are disrespectful and loud. Be sure to visit before renting on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Walk the halls and hear your potential neighbors, their kids, their music, etc. These apartments are so poorly constructed that you can actually hear your upstairs neighbors when they use the toilet and shower, when they shut cabinet doors, do laundry, etc. Of course, you will also hear every step they take across their floor as well - although that is pretty common to us apartment dwellers. Although there are advertised amenities such as a business center and a recreation room, you can never find the computer without someone on it and you cannot use the rec room without reserving and paying for it. Most apartments allow 24/7 access to their amenities, but not here. Also, there is no pool - something I really missed this summer. On the positive side, their management is outstanding as it their maintenance team. The facility upkeep is wonderful and areas in/around the trash chutes and recycle containers are somehow always neat. The apartments have great floorplans and being all electric appealed to me as did the large oval bathtub.
