I have live in this community since Dec. of 2005. We have been through 4 managers and several assistant managers and desk personnel...too many to count. None of the original staff is there except for Sonny the maintenance manager, Bozutto either moves them to other properties or they get fired.
NOW we find out a few days ago that the property is being sold and it is questionable whether or not Bozutto will continue to manage the property...even though they will be managing the add-on being built above and behind Metro. I have had several little issues, nothing too major. More-so issues with the Section-8's that "have to" live there thanks to Montgomery County insisting on it. Honestly, they cause most of the problems in the apartment community. It is supposed to be a higher-end living community as they are trying to revitalize the area...but that can't be done when you allow those who fall below a certain income level to live and rent the same places for about 2/3rd's less than those of us who make 6 figures a year. They abuse the pool privileges...I've given up going down there. You can never use the club room because there is always a "private" party in there. The fitness center likens to a detention center yard with inmates working out...so I've given up using it too.
I will NOT be resigning my lease in November...and I know I am not alone as they are having troubles renting the units that are available. They are now over priced and not worth it what-so-ever. I've complained twice directly to Bozutto but they obviously have fallen on deaf ears as I have yet to hear anything back from them.

You know what? You need to take your six figure salary and go to North Bethesda or Potomac to live in a higher-end community. I bet you wouldn't last, after you paid your rent you wouldn't have much left for your groceries and you'd be begging to come back here around the Section-8'ers. You people kill me. I have a two bedroom loft paying $1100 a month, far less than what you are paying and wouldn't dream of paying much more than that for an apartment and I have always lived in luxury apartments in and around Silver Spring.
What's the problem with you? Don't have good credit? You're making six figures? Could that be the reason you are living in an apartment and not a house?
Also, you need to get your facts straight before you go running off about something you know nothing about obviously. For your information The Montgomery doesn't even accept Section-8 vouchers and if you don't believe me, go ask management.
Get a life. You're probably one paycheck away from being homeless yourself.
