I have had constant ceiling leaks, about 6 or 7 in different parts of the apartment. By leaks I mean, enough to wet a mattress, the carpet and any other thing that may be underneath the ceiling when it starts to leak. They come out to stop the leak, but then you'll have a big hole in your ceiling for weeks. I also have had a problem with my bathtub not draining. It has been three weeks, it is beyond pouring acid and using liquid plummer...all of that has been done. To this day, it still has not been fixed and I have been using the shower in the other bathroom. I had asked the office this morning to send someone out to suck up that water in the kids' bedroom, because it is soaked and will end up smelling like mildew. When I left the house at 2:00pm, no one had come as of yet. I am ready to move. I hate this place. The people upstairs play their loud music 9 in the morning, 9 at night, they don't care; despite numerous times I have complained. The office staff said they have sent them a notice, so why do I still have to listen to this music any time of the day' Fast forward--now it is September...it has been more than two months since I've used my shower, it has been over a month since I reported that my smoke alarm has been chirping, it still is. It has wires, I changed the battery, but it still chirps. Because of the last leakage from my ceiling, I have gnats in the apartment, for about two months now. No one ever came out to vaccuum the water from the carpet. They took my information like they were going to send someone, but didn't. Other tenants are right about them not removing snow off the parking lot in the winter. And the tow truck does come out every night looking for a car to snatch. Once again, they are under new management. This is the third time since I've been here, I moved here in 2005. I went to court and my rent is now in escrow.
