I visit this website often, just to read what people would say, but never posted a comment. I am a current resident, who lived here for over 4 years, and recently transferred into a renovated apartment home. I guess the people who post the negative comments, are bitter about something, or are upset with management for other reasons, and are just using this site to slam them, but these people are great. My new apartment, is amazing compared to my own. The new company just brought this property, and came in and start doing all kinds of great things. I am sorry that if painting the hallway causes fumes, but how about the last company never painted. These people have put up new shutters, groomed the property, and yes the manager, and her staff are stern with enforcing the community policies, but that has made a change. Even the gang members who used hang around don't any more. Nicole is a little young girl, but she is stern. I go to every resident party that her staff gives. Most of the staff are from the old management company, but even they seem happier now. They not only have made changes to this property, but my friend lives at Cedar Towers, and they are doing a lot of work there as well. They give away $100.00 gift certificates as door prizes at the resident parties. They cute down home food, and served us for Christmas. We just had a Valentines Day thing to. We sang, dance, they are a family. Ms. Nicole, Anisha, and the other little cute girls were so funny that night. So obviously these people don't come out for those parties. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I love what they are doing here. I don't care about smelling paint, water being shut off, or none of that. KEEP BRINGING ON THE CHANGES, AND THE OTIS SPUNKMEYER COOKIES! aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb

I agree that they are making changes and enforce the rules. But you are in a renovated apartment. Have you ever had your ceiling leak in different parts of your apartment 6 or 7 different times? How about every time you turn around the water is being cut off? How does that suit you? I happen to like some of the new staff, but I wouldn't go as far as saying it is a great place to live, it's not the worst, but its not the best. It's not everyone has their opinion, everyone has their own different experience with this place, yours happens to be a good one, some of us have don't have many good experiences. Nicole is a good property manager, she will get on "it". As far as the parties go, some people work, I work unconventional hours, so 6:00 on a Friday is not convenient for me, and some people may not want to party with their neighbors, they may be the stay to yourself type, that's their preference. But a party has nothing to do with the type of service people had been getting over time. Overall, it will probably take time for things to be great, the new staff DOES seem to putting in an effort. And from the looks of it, it this keeps up, maybe this will be a great place to live, especially, when other tenants learn how to be respectful to other people who live in a building and NOT BLAST THEIR MUSIC or HAVE SO MUCH TRAFFIC COMING AND GOING.

Change is always good, but there is a difference in renovating and patching up just enough to lure people in. The carpet is good, but the kitchen and bathoom flools were replaced with the cheapest material out there. It wasn't made to last! I also live in a renovated apt, but I had a long list of things that needed to be fixed. Also no one cares about how great of a person that the office staff is because that's personal. Business is business and when it's time to do business, then you expect for people to act in a business manor. I've lived in a much larger apartment complex and I have never waited over 3 days for a non emergency request. At Cedar Gardens it seems that a week (or two) is the average. This makes no sense to me. I like the Management Team as people, but from a business perspective, a much better effort needs to be made to get the maintenance staff up to speed.

Cedar G is ok with a few quirks here and their lol i like it and i am aware that know matter where you live someone will complain and alot of the time you must complain in order to get issues resolved...you see i have lived here for a long time and i still like cedar G but there are things such as mice! that crawls over the stove and in the apartment and i am so sick of trying to stay calm its really got me sick...i don't eve cook know more for 3 months in my apartment i will not cook.....i go in the kitchen at night and mice on my stove and mine you i am a older adult that don't abuse and trash people property..so if cedar G get rid of the mouse infestation it would really be nice and i agree the staff is great and the new management has nothing to do with the problems that already exist prior to them taking on this property at any rate i rather be mouse free then have a renovated apartment...i am sick of these mice.
