I hated this place the whole time I was here!

Ok, I am not trying to slam anyone. I would just like to speak the truth because I wish someone would have did that for me before I moved in to Cedar Gardens. My husband, my two children (three and four), and myself moved in last year August 19, 2007. We are moving the hell out on August 16, 2008. The second day we moved in both of our cars that my husband and I owned were towed away. We woke up to go to work and our cars were gone. There was no courtesy note or even a hint that our cars were towed. We both panicked. We called the police and finally we found out that our cars were towed. The reason that they were towed was because management failed to let us know that we needed parking permits to park there. Of course my husband and I were not going to pay to get our cars out of the tow lot but we had to get a ride to pick the cars up which was a big inconvenience.
Then a copule of months later my car was towed again because they said that my tags were expired. I had to end up paying $200.00 for that.
My neighbors blast their music every weekend. I can hear everybody's conversation in the whole building because the walls are super thin. Yes, new management did renovate the hallways and painted but I still hate it. When they first started to paint I could smell the fumes but did not know exactly where they had painted at. So I went to take the trash out with my three and four year old and being kids they touched the railings so that they didnt fall walking down the steps. I looked at their hands and they had black paint everywhere. I almost freaked out. They didn't even have the courtesy to put a sign down to say "Wet Paint".
The parking is terrible. Don't let anyone visit you because they have to park in designated areas that say "Visitor" and there are like 6 of them for all of the builings total. The rest of the visitor parking is around the corner which sucks.
They do leave notes on your doors saying that you need to have all of your stuff out of the kitchen for whatever reasons and only give you a day in advance. That is an inconvenience especially if you work late to find those notes. Your water gets cut off for renovations lasting 8 hours like every other week. They installed a washer and dryer hook up in our kitchen. They never completed it so there is still holes in the floor. When me and my husband came home it was dust, wood chips, and debris everywhere!!! Then they had the nerve to sweep that crap with our own personal broom and dustpan and put it in our trash can. I had to buy a new broom and dustpan for that reason. That was so unprofessional!! Dust was everywhere!!!
I just did not like my experience here at all. I wish my husband and I would have researched a little more before we picked that hole in a wall. Thank God we are able to move out and live in a better place. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
