Things started out okay, but over time they got worse. I can't list everything. When I moved in I was newly married with a child. My husband picked out the apartment, then, when he was suppose to sign the lease and get the keys we were showed a different apartment and because we were in a bind we accepted the apartment. There were some problems at first, but everything was promply fixed. Then the power was out in the apartment for two days. All the food we bought now wasted. The tenant before us didn't pay his bills and the management didn't change over our information as new tenants. That was just the beginning. Since then we've had electrical problems, gas leaks, no heat, water bubbles in the walls from pipes busting, tenants above us fighting, one day the main door sealed close and we were stuck in the apartment and had to call security to kick in the door, from Nov.-Dec. we repeatedly went to the office left messages and spoke to the maintence ourselves about problems, and it wasn't until We threated to get a lawyer and place our rent in an escrow account that all of the problems were fixed in two days. More than 10 seperate times we've been with out water & gas. The office is rarely open during it's posted hours and no one never, ever returned my calls. The list goes on. This is my first and last year here. I am a kind patient person, but living here has really stressed me out. If you like fairly nice neigbors and management that ignores you, then you'll love it here. It's an interesting mix.
